1. Overview
These Payment Plan Terms apply when you choose to pay for tickets in instalments (a “payment plan”) for an event that supports it. They form part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
If there is any conflict between these terms and the details shown for a specific event at checkout, the details shown at checkout apply to that purchase.
2. Eligibility and how it works
Payment plans are available only where the organiser has enabled them for an event and where you meet any eligibility requirements shown at checkout. When you select a payment plan:
- an initial payment (deposit) may be due at the time of purchase;
- the remaining balance is split into scheduled instalments, each with a set due date;
- the full schedule — including the amount and date of each instalment — is shown to you before you confirm.
By confirming a payment plan, you agree to pay each instalment in full by its due date.
4. Missed or late payments
If an instalment is not paid by its due date, we may:
- retry the payment on your selected payment method;
- suspend access to, or withhold issuance of, the tickets; and
- after a reasonable grace period, cancel the order.
Where an order is cancelled for non-payment, tickets will not be issued or will be voided, and amounts already paid may be retained to the extent permitted by the organiser’s policy and applicable law (for example, to cover non-refundable fees or a deposit). We will give you reasonable notice before cancelling an order for non-payment where practicable.
5. When tickets are issued
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, tickets purchased on a payment plan are issued only once the full balance has been paid. Some events may release tickets earlier on the condition that the payment plan remains in good standing; in that case, the tickets may be voided if the plan is not completed.
6. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel a payment plan, or if an order is cancelled for non-payment, our Refund Policy and the organiser’s policy determine what, if anything, is refundable.
If an event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, the Refund Policy — including its force-majeure provisions — applies to the amounts you have paid under the plan. Booking, service, or processing fees may be non-refundable.
7. Fees
Any fees associated with a payment plan are shown to you before you confirm. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, payment plans do not charge interest; service or processing fees may apply and may be non-refundable.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Payment Plan Terms from time to time. The terms in force at the time you enter into a payment plan apply to that plan. We will revise the effective date at the top of this page whenever we make changes.
